Academic Contests
We have collected academic contests from across the country that students can enter and receive prize money which can be used to further their education. These contests consist of individual competitions and group competitions.
Clean Tech Competition
The Clean Tech Competition is a unique, worldwide research and design challenge for pre-college youth. The program encourages scientific understanding of real world issues and the integration of environmentally responsible energy sources. Each year, the Clean Tech Competition addresses an issue that is grounded in core technological competency areas and focuses on the next great engineering challenges. The competition is designed to foster a deeper understanding of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) related concepts, recognize outstanding talent and prepare the next generation of globally competitive innovators.
ACSA Competitions
The Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture runs several competitions for students and faculty to enter and win cash prizes.
New England Institute of Technology – Contests
NEIT offers an essay writing contest to high school students with the three winners offered a $2000, $1500, and $1000 scholarships to their school.
The National League of American Pen Women – Contests
The NLAPW sponsors national and branch level awards throughout the year. Check the art, writing or music pages for updates on contests open to members.

Kenneth E. Behring National History Day Contest
The Kenneth E. Behring National History Day Contest is the final stage of a series of contests at local and state/affiliate levels. Students begin their journey by presenting their projects in classrooms, schools and districts around the world. Top entries are invited to the state/affiliate level contests. The top two entries in every category at the state/affiliate level are then invited to the Kenneth E. Behring National History Day Contest. The contest is named for Mr. Behring in recognition of his generous support of history education and National History Day®.
ExploraVision Competition
The ExploraVision competition for K-12 students engages the next generation in real world problem solving with a strong emphasis on STEM. ExploraVision challenges students to envision and communicate new technology 20 years in the future through collaborative brainstorming and research of current science and technology.
