Scholarship/Grants and/or College Search & Support

NHEG has spent many years collecting and collaborating with others to compile a large list of scholarships, grants, colleges and other resources for students. All of this information is stored in a database called ‘Credibal’, which we use for students seeking information in all of the above. It covers a wide variety of topics including hard-to-find scholarships and grants. In addition, families who pay our fee receive a personalized report. We can’t guarantee that you will receive a scholarship or grant, but these are wonderful, bonafide opportunities for which you can apply.

When applying for scholarships or grants, make sure you read eligibility requirements for that particular scholarship or grant before submitting your application. You may not be awarded that particular scholarship or grant, but don’t be discouraged as there are many other ones that you can apply for in the United States.

It is a good idea to have the following information available when applying:

• Family background
• Family memberships
• Personal statement
• Resume of honors
• Awards
• Leadership activities
• Extracurricular activities
• Community service
• Recommendation letters from teachers and other community leaders
• Job history
• Transcript(s)
